Ekaterina graduated from State university in Russia with a degree in philology, and then obtained a French diploma from the Alliance Française after her arrival in Switzerland, which she completed with an assistant accountant certificate in Geneva.

She worked 10 years at the treasury and documentary credit department of a steel trading company based in Geneva. She speaks French, English and Russian.
